Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 2026

OccupyHiFi (“we”) operates occupyhifi.org. This policy explains what data we collect and why.

What we collect

Comments and contact forms. If you comment or contact us, we receive what you send: name, email address, and message content. We use it to respond and to moderate.

Newsletter. If you subscribe, we store your email address to send you the newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email.

Analytics. We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand which articles are read. This data is aggregated; we don’t build individual profiles.

Cookies. See our Cookie Policy for details.

What we don’t do

  • We don’t sell personal data. Ever.
  • We don’t share personal data with advertisers.
  • We don’t collect payment information (we don’t sell anything directly).

Affiliate links

Some outbound links are affiliate links. When you click one, the retailer may set cookies or collect data under their own privacy policy — not ours.

Data retention and your rights

We keep contact and newsletter data only as long as needed for its purpose. You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data at any time via the Contact page. EU/UK visitors have the rights granted by GDPR, including data portability and the right to object to processing.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we’ll note the update date here. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
