Corrections Policy
We make mistakes. This is what happens when we catch one — or when you catch one for us.
What counts as a correction
Any substantive factual error: a wrong specification, an outdated price presented as current, a misattributed claim, a date or product detail that’s wrong. Typos and style fixes are corrected silently; everything else is noted.
How corrections are handled
- The article is fixed promptly.
- A correction note is added to the article with the date and a brief
- For significant errors — a wrong conclusion built on a wrong fact — the note

explains the impact, not just the edit.
What we don’t do
- We don’t quietly rewrite articles to hide errors.
- We don’t delete articles to avoid acknowledging mistakes. If an article is

removed, we say why.
update the article and date the change.
Report an error
Use the Contact page and choose “Corrections.” Include the article URL, the incorrect statement, and what’s correct (with a source if you have one). We aim to acknowledge reports within a few days and resolve them as fast as the facts allow.
Being corrected is part of publishing. We’d rather be corrected than wrong.
